The Connections Project supports three rural early years drop-in programs in the Comox Valley. Scroll down to learn more about:

Dove Creek Hall
Play Group

Join our Family Connector for this free drop-in program that will provide connections for both you and your young child(ren)! These informal parent and tot mornings will offer plenty of fun, play-based activities for the kids. Parents/caregivers will have a chance to socialize and learn about other community resources and programs. Guest speakers will be brought in based on parent’s interest. Parent participation is required.

Parent & Peanut
Program

Drop-in with your little one(s) for a free and friendly morning of connecting with other families! Parents and/or caregivers will have the opportunity to meet others and share in the experience of raising children. Children will have an opportunity to meet new friends in a fun and playful environment that encourages growth and learning. A knowledgeable Family Connector will be present to help bridge connections between families and community resources if needed and also bring in the occasional guest speaker, based on parents’ interests! This program will have regular library story times on the third week of the month. Thank you VI Regional Library Courtenay and Comox! Parent participation is required.

Main Hall, The Black Creek Community Centre
Thursdays, from 9:30am to Noon.

South Comox Valley Early Years Playgroup

New program alert!

Join our South Comox Valley Family Connector, Healthy Families staff, and other guests at this new drop-in, suitable for early years children and families.
Bring your littles for a free & family friendly morning of play and connecting with other families. No need to pre-register, simple drop-in.

Wednesdays from 9:30am-11:30am
January 10th-March 27, 2024
