Building Connections for Valley Families Project
The Building Connections for Valley Families Project is a community initiative created by the CVEYC. The goal of this project is to identify and build on the strengths of the Comox Valley community in how it supports and encourages young children to thrive and develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively. In doing so, we hope to support families with young children in finding play and learning opportunities and in building social connections in the community.
Comox Valley Community Child Care Advisory
The Comox Valley Community Child Care Advisory is a key initiative of the Early Years Collaborative. Our committee is made up of passionate individuals and organizations who take direct actions to support the growth of and support for quality Child Care in the Comox Valley. Using the Comox Valley Child Care Action Plan, Cumberland Child Care Action Plan and our Guiding Document as references for our work, our mission is to ensure families in the Comox Valley have access to high quality, affordable, flexible and inclusive child care.
