The Comox Rec Parent Speaker Series was created in response to a community need identified during a Comox Valley Early Years Collaborative meeting. Through collaborative dialogue among local service providers, it became clear that parents and caregivers were seeking more accessible opportunities to learn, connect, and receive support on topics related to child development and family well-being.

In response, the series was designed to bring local experts and organizations together to share practical tools, information, and resources with families in a welcoming community setting. By strengthening parenting confidence, fostering connection, and increasing awareness of local supports, the Parent Speaker Series contributes to a more connected and resilient Comox Valley community.
